v1.2.1 trial, menu insights, verified updates. A successful capture names the file, list, or channel, and the menu can reveal it.
The menu holds at most three unfinished captures. Mark one done or leave it parked. A line that starts with when comes back when that app or document returns.
A failed capture opens a dialog with the reason and can open the setting that fixes a missing path, token, or permission.

Capture handoff no longer races slow host-text strip: the stuck-transition failsafe is generation-guarded and re-checks instead of reopening the pipeline mid-strip.
The keyboard listener now recovers when macOS disables the event tap for user input (not just timeouts), with a permission prompt if re-enable fails.
Command/Control chords (paste, undo) clear the passive // matcher so a stale suffix can never arm a trigger against changed host text.
Calendar permission is requested before the capture overlay closes; capture-history notifications always post on the main thread.

One clear model: every feature is available for 7 days, then a valid $19 lifetime license is required. Existing settings and local data are retained.
The menu-bar context refreshes on every open with trial/license state, capture readiness, today/week/current/best streak insights, and private last-capture metadata (target and time only).
Updates now come from a versioned manifest and the DMG must match its SHA-256 before Doubleslash opens it or quits.
License activation validates HTTP responses, safely form-encodes keys, masks stored keys in Settings, and deactivation stops entitled services immediately.

2026-08-17 — v1.1.5 Obsidian list-safe trigger strip app

Opening the capture HUD no longer rewrites the whole Obsidian (or similar) note from Accessibility kAXValue, which was turning live-preview bullets into isolated - lines.
Trigger removal now deletes only //command (selected-range or backspace). Whole-field rewrite is limited to short plain single-line hosts.
